Description[]
Insight is a special power that Marianne possesses that allows her to find additional clues in her environments. The ability is unique to mediums. We see only Marianne's usage of it in particular, but Spirit Thomas may also utilize a particular variation of this ability. As a medium, his spirit half can detect things. Thomas once summoned his counterpart to assist him in finding Richard's sketchbook, hidden behind a painting.
Gameplay[]
Insight can either be used to reveal hidden objects, or highlight objects that can be interacted with. It is activated with the LB button. When focusing on a specific area, sometimes Insight is required to discover interactions with objects. Also, Spirit Trails are initially a cluster of fluttering particles, but they move. Insight is required to mark their trail. In the beginning of the game, Sadness' footsteps are followed via Insight. Rotating an object with Insight is required to find Echoes.
