The Spirit World (also known as Purgatory or Limbo), is one of the worlds in which the main character Marianne can explore. Acting as a sort of hub between the physical dimension and the afterlife, it is where spirits and souls who still have unfinished business go. Once a soul enters the Spirit World they are unable to leave until their business is completed.
